Appointments
Appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient, and require a great deal of time for cleaning and preparation. We ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your commitment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we do ask for your assistance in this regard.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your child’s appointment, our ability to give your child excellent service is compromised. We may find it necessary to reappoint your child if it is not possible to give them the care they deserve in the resulting reduced amount of time.
Hours
Our Bartlett office is open Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. We are closed for lunch from 1-2 pm.
Our Atoka office is open Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. We are closed for lunch from 1-2 pm.
Young Patients
We have found that preschool children are more cooperative, alert and refreshed during the morning hours. Our doctors prefer to see children in this age group in the morning.
Fillings, Crowns, Extractions, and Other Dental Work
Children will be appointed for this kind of procedure during the morning hours only. Our doctors want to be able to deliver these services under optimal conditions, when your children and staff alike are at their freshest.
Emergencies
Please call our office immediately in the event of a dental emergency. We will do our best to rearrange our schedule to accommodate an injured child. As a parent, we know you will understand if this happens during your scheduled appointment.
After Hours
Our established patients may contact an emergency doctor by calling the office number.
Payment
It is important to us that we communicate the cost of treatment to you before providing services. You will leave our offices with proposed treatment and costs detailed, along with estimated insurance benefits.
We request payment for all services performed at the time of service. We gratefully accept cash, personal check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, and most insurance plans. Please make prior payment arrangements with our administrators if someone other than a parent or guardian brings your child in for an appointment.
If you desire extended payment arrangements, please contact our Accounts Representative and she will be happy to make financial arrangements for you in advance of your appointment.
Insurance
We accept payment from most insurance plans. If we are not on your list of providers, check with your Human Resources office to see if you may go to an out-of-network provider. You may find that there is not a lot of difference in your out-of-pocket costs when coming to our office.
Before your first appointment, be sure we have your complete insurance information, so that we can verify your coverage prior to your visit. That way, you can pay only any co-payment instead of the entire fee.
For subsequent appointments, you will be asked to pay the balance not covered by your insurance at the time of service. If you do not have dental insurance, full payment is due at the time of service.
Orthodontics
We offer all patients no down payment for orthodontics. We will obtain an estimate of insurance benefits, if any. The balance will be spread out over the term of treatment, with monthly payments automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account. If you desire payments to be extended past the term of treatment, we can offer extended payments through Care Credit.
